\u201cMy mom recently passed away, and I feel like I\u2019m carrying the torch and continuing her legacy in helping people who need it. She always reminded me that patients aren\u2019t just objects in a chair; they\u2019re people,\u201d Dr. Vasquez reflected. \u201cTreating them with empathy and making them feel welcome is just as important as the clinical care,\u201d he said.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
