“The Hispanic population that is too often underserved truly speaks to my heart,” Dr. Carrio said. “Living in this community myself, I see my patients outside of the health center, and I love seeing them appreciate the care we provide. Seeing their health in their day-to-day lives reinforces how important the work we do is. That’s why I got into this field,” she said.<\/span><\/p>\n
