The award also acknowledges progress with improving health outcomes for patients in rural and underserved communities.<\/strong> This distinction is awarded to the top 20 percent of health centers nationwide by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).<\/p>\n<p>HRSA awards <a href=\"https:\/\/bphc.hrsa.gov\/initiatives\/advancing-health-center-excellence\/community-health-quality-recognition-chqr-overview\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Community Health Quality Recognition (CHQR) badges<\/a> to health centers that have achieved the highest levels of clinical quality. Performance measures include areas such as access, quality, health information technology, social risk factors screenings, and COVID-19 public health emergency response.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe acknowledgment holds immense importance for TrueCare. It recognizes our commitment and adherence to high-quality performance benchmarks set by HRSA, with a profound impact on patients and the diverse communities we serve,\u201d said Dr. Marie Russell, TrueCare\u2019s Chief Medical Officer\/Chief Operating Officer. \u201cThis accolade is a testament to the collective delivery of compassionate care that enhances the patient experience and health outcomes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) like TrueCare play a vital role in communities. They consistently provide care and improve health outcomes for over 30 million patients who face significant barriers to affordable health care access. This includes care across various clinical areas, such as behavioral health, maternal health, diabetes health, heart health, cancer screenings, and HIV prevention, as well as overall quality performance.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHealth centers are an essential part of America\u2019s health care safety net.
